ENGINE
OIL
CHANGE
The
engine
oil
should
be
warm.
Remove
the
oil
drain
hose
from
its
attachment bracket
and
lower
it
into
a container
and
allow
the
oil
to
drain, or attach a pump
to
the
end of
the
drain
hose
and
pump
the

out.
Make
sure
the
oil
drain

properly secured
in
its
holder after
all
of
the
old
oil
has
been
drained.
Always observe
the
old
oil
as
it
is
removed. A yellow/gray
emulsion
indicates
the
presence of water
in
the
oil.
Although
this
condition
is
rare,
it
does
require prompt attention
to
prevent serious
damage.
Call
a competent
mechanic
if
water
is
present
in
the
oil.
Raw
water
present
in
the
oil
can
be
the result of a fault
in
the
exhaust system attached
to
the
engine andlor a siphoning
through
the
raw
water
cooling
circuit into
the
exhaust, tilling
into
the
engine.
